MMA CLASSES
Technique and sparring based
Interested in MMA?
Start with the Right Foundations
If you're looking to train in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), it's important to understand that our Wednesday MMA classes focus on combining skills rather than teaching the fundamentals of each discipline. To get the most out of your MMA training, we strongly recommend attending both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Muay Thai classes.
Our BJJ Fundamentals Program is especially recommended for beginners who want to build a solid grappling foundation before jumping into MMA. This ensures you develop the essential techniques and understanding needed for effective MMA training.
Friday Sparring Sessions
Please note that Friday sparring sessions are MMA-focused. Participants are expected to be comfortable with both striking and grappling, as we integrate techniques from both BJJ and Muay Thai in live sparring.

Why Start with BJJ Before Muay Thai?
If you're a complete beginner, starting with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is highly recommended, as it is often harder to pick up than Muay Thai. While Muay Thai focuses primarily on striking, BJJ provides essential skills for controlling and defending yourself in various positions, including on the ground.
BJJ is crucial for grappling, takedowns, wall control, and even clinchingβall of which are integral to MMA. Mastering BJJ first will give you a deep understanding of ground and pound techniques, submissions, and positional control, which are key in MMA.
Since many MMA fights go to the ground or involve exchanges in the clinch, BJJ will set a solid base that will make your transition into Muay Thai and MMA much more effective and safer. It gives you the tools to stay composed, control your opponent, and deal with striking exchanges while knowing how to handle grappling situations.
