EFCombatives Classes
Ares MMA is Australia’s first and only EFC accredited training facility.
EFCombatives is a comprehensive self-defense and combatives training program developed by law enforcement professionals to enhance defensive tactics, fitness, and situational awareness. The program integrates principles from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and striking arts, tailored specifically for real-world applications in policing and personal protection.
Teenagers Classes
At Ares MMA Hillcrest, we understand that ages 12–13 can be a unique stage — where some teens are ready to step up, while others benefit from continued structure. That’s why we offer a flexible pathway based on each teen’s readiness, experience, and comfort level.
Teens in this age group can take part in one or more of the following programs:
🛡️ Junior Warriors Program (up to age 13): A great option for those still building confidence and refining their foundational skills in a structured, age-appropriate setting.
🥋 BJJ Fundamentals Program: For teens ready to begin focused training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, our fundamentals classes are a great introduction to grappling, positional control, and self-defense.
🥊 Adult Classes (Coach Approved): Mature or experienced teens may be invited to join beginner-friendly adult classes, where they’ll train alongside adults in a safe, supportive environment under close supervision.
Every student develops at their own pace, and we’re here to guide that journey — whether they’re just starting out or ready for a bigger challenge.
